Continual monitoring of insulation wall thicknesses and outer dimensions are employed at each extrusion stage of production. Electrical spark fault and continuity testing are also performed at all stages of production.
Our quality assurance laboratory maintains independently calibrated testing equipment. Burton Wire & Cable retains highly trained technicians to accurately test that all of our products meet or exceed the product specifications required by our customers.
Burton Wire & Cable is registered with Underwriters Laboratories, ensuring that our products conform to the latest National Electric Code and Canadian Electric Code standards. We also certify many of our products to the Mine Safety and Health Administration, the Pennsylvania MSHA, and California State Fire Marshall standards.
